Tropos is a video production company dedicated to crafting cinematic experiences that communicate deep, meaningful messages. When the founders approached me, they emphasized the importance of creating a logo that not only captured their vision but also visually embodied the essence of the word Tropos, what it means to them both philosophically and creatively.
The name Tropos is derived from the Greek word meaning "turns" or "transitions", a concept closely tied to storytelling, evolution, and movement. The objective was to design a logo that reflects this origin while subtly nodding to the worlds of music and video production. The final concept incorporates elements reminiscent of headphones, symbolizing audio-visual media, while the curved shapes and dynamic flow reference the idea of turning, adapting, and transforming key themes in both narrative and creative processes.
The final logo is a refined visual identity that aligns seamlessly with Tropos’ mission. It captures both the technical and emotional aspects of their work, professional, cinematic, and meaningful.
